After years of trying to strap a video camera on my car to record my racing and adventures of various twisty roads, I finally found Go Pro. Initially, they developed this product to strap on the wrist for water adventures (kayaking), but the newest version, their "Motorsports Hero" is designed to click-mount on various locations on your car.
Developed on the track, the Hero can be mounted almost anywhere on your car, even on your helmet. It delivers TV resolution 30 fps of 513x384 video with sound tuned to capture the grunt, squeel, and stroke of driving at the limit. The motorsports version of this product uses two AAA batteries and will record 56 minutes of video to a 2GB SD card.
The Motorsports version of this product will be available in November for about $180. For more information, visit www.goprocamera.com
